Jane's Thoughts

I much enjoyed the chance to chat at the pre-committee meeting lunch today. Normally busy with the meeting I very seldom have time to just natter away to the other committee members and even less time to ask questions – and I do have a lot of questions about the (sometimes confusing) world of the cat fancy.
Thanks to Debbie, Margaret M., and Emma for their efforts to help me catch up on things I need to know about cat shows.

Committee News

General:
The sub-committee for the review of the constitution was formed; members are Paul Holden, Jane Webster, Mushfik and Christine Yeung.

The club delegate to the NZCF AGM was changed to Jane Webster.

Show Business:
Assignment of show appointments and show preparation tasks took up a large portion of this committee meeting. Among the appointments were Paul Holden and Mush Yeung as LH (Paul) and SH (Mush) show managers.

The SPCA will be invited to provide the ‘Cuddle Corner’ again this year.

An additional prize will be offered for the best junior exhibitor.

6 May 2012 - Our 58th All Breeds Show

The judges have been approved:

The schedule will be available soon. A reminder that the entries close early – 4th April.

End-of-Year Awards

The committee intends to have end-of-year awards for Palmerston North Cat Club members but to do that we’ll need to know about your successes at the shows you attend. Emma Kimberly says she will be at most shows and can be given the details but a note on the club’s Facebook page or a quick email will also work.
