End-of-Year Get-together

‘Yes,’ we said, ‘the club should have a social event at the end of the year!’  And so we’ve organised one and we hope to see members from near and far at lunch the Aqaba on Sunday the 1st of December.

Please remember to RSVP to Margaret Morgan (if you haven’t already done so) so that she can confirm the numbers with the restaurant.

PNCC Inc Annual Awards

We intend to give awards for our workers again but we will need to hear from you about the work you’ve done.  Please contact Denise Grace with details of where you have been helping out during the 2013 show season.

The awards will be held in conjunction with the AGM in February.

Accommodation Raffle

The club is running a raffle for the donated two nights’ accommodation at B-K’s Motel in Palmerston North.  Have you got family or friends coming to stay? This could be for you as winning could mean you can have visitors and not have to clear out the spare room!

Rosette Sponsorship

Rosettes really make the show something colourful and special, and having plenty of rosettes is something Palmerston North shows have become known for.

Would you like to sponsor rosettes for the club’s 60th All Breeds show?  Choose your colours, have a cattery name, your family name, or the name of a special cat printed on the tail.

Committee Meeting – 12 November 2013

- 2014 / 60th All Breeds Show:
-- ProPlan has confirmed that they will sponsor the show again this year.
-- Updating the show schedule is underway and we aim to have it out in early February.
-- The entry for the public was set to enable the advertising posters to be made up, and will be:
---- $8 = family
---- $4 = adult
---- $2 = child / senior citizen-- We will make a simplified catalogue to sell to the public at the show.

- Fund-raising:
-- Judy James’s sleep sacks are selling and another 10 calendars have been printed to be sold through Cahill Animal Hospital.  We have four barbecues organised from December to February.

Barbecue Fund Raising

Can you help out at any of these fund-raising barbecues? Could you deliver sliced, partly cooked onions on the morning of the barbecue?  Would you like to help in some other way?
