Membership - Reminder

A reminder that subs for the club were due on 1st January 2014.  After 1st February 2014 members who have not paid their subs will be removed from the list of financial members.  This may affect your ability to hold a prefix with the NZCF.

- Full Membership
-- Single $15.00 / Double $25.00 / Triple $35.00

- Associate Membership
-- Single $15.00 / Double $25.00 / Junior $5.00

- Family Membership
-- Mixed membership (full for adults, associate for juniors) $25

Please make cheques payable to ‘Palmerston North Cat Club Inc’.

The club account number for online payment is 02-0630-0172405-000.  It is important to include a reference when making your payment (your surname at the very least) and to follow it up with an email to the club secretary.

If it’s possible that your email address, physical address, or phone number has changed since you joined, could you please send updated details to secretary when you pay your subs.

Annual General Meeting - Reminder
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 23rd February 2014 starting at 4.30pm and our club's Annual Awards will be presented there.  As we did last year we will be heading off for a social gathering over dinner at the Rose & Crown in Terrace End after the meeting.

Privacy - Reminder

As a club affiliated with the NZCF we send our membership list to the EC Secretary so that she can confirm the people renewing or applying for prefixes are financial members of an affiliated club.  It is important that our club members are aware that this is part of renewing their membership with the Palmerston North Cat Club Inc.

Joining the Committee - Reminder

The AGM is coming up in February and the club needs willing members to join the committee.  If you would like to help out for the 2014/15 year please come along to the AGM and put your name forward or, if you can't attend the AGM, contact the club secretary to advise you are interested in a place on the committee.

Committee Meeting – 14th January 2014

- 2014 / 60th All Breeds Show:

January was a very 'exciting' month for the committee with an unexpected withdrawal of one of our overseas judges.  A replacement has been found and will be confirmed as soon as the Portfolio Manager (Judges) signs off on the contract.

Discussed the proposal from a radio station for advertising the show (and showing cats in general).
Settled on which judges for each ring, each day.

Barbecue Fund Raising

Just one fund-raising barbecue left now and we would appreciate some help from club members outside the committee for this as it really needs a morning and afternoon shift.  It is on Saturday 15th February.  Please contact Margaret Morgan if you can help.
